Peter Fiore has been painting and exhibiting his work for almost 30 years. He studied illustration at Pratt Institute and painting at the Art Students League in New York City. He has illustrated thousands of projects, collaborated on more than 20 children's books including Lynne Cheney's NY Times Best Seller When Washington Crossed the Delaware. He was recently featured in Fine Art Connoisseur as an artist to watch. He has received over 75 distinguished awards, including a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators where he was president from 1993 to 1995. Most recently, he was awarded First Place for landscape in The Artist’s Magazine Annual Competition. He's been on the faculty at Pratt Institute, Syracuse University and presently teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He has given numerous guest lectures and workshops on painting. Fiore's landscape paintings are widely collected and are in many corporate and private collections. His work is represented in prestigious galleries across the country.
