Tony Potter Biography

Tony Potter has had a widely varied career in photography spanning nearly 30 years; for most for that time he has maintained successful commercial photography studio specializing in fashion catalog and corporate photography for clients including Bonwitt Teller, Zoli Model Management, Click Models, Carrier Corporation, Widewaters Development, Syracuse University, Upstate Magazine, Laubach Literacy International, Rent.net, Xerox, Bristol Myers Squibb, Clarkson University, Colgate University, Harden Furniture, Infimed, Lockheed Martin, Marietta Corporation, Oneida Ltd., and Princess Cruise Lines.

Potter’s experience in photography goes well beyond image capture. In addition to the photography studio he is also the owner of PROLAB and Eventphotographs.com. PROLAB is a commercial photofinishing lab performing custom film processing and printing for corporate clients and photographic art professionals. Eventphotographs.com is an on-line sales outlet for professional and part-time professional photographers shooting participant based sporting and art events.

Currently Tony Potter is devoting his time to education as an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Cazenovia College and The Manlius Pebble Hill School. In addition to his regular teaching responsibilities Potter has taught numerous workshops on traditional and digital photography.

Although Potter is a highly skilled technical/commercial photographer he is also an artist, having exhibited his photographs at the State of the Art Gallery, Ithaca, NY.; the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center, Auburn, NY.; and the Everson Museum of Art, Syracuse, NY.
