Michael Sickler has a BFA and an MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He has worked in a large variety of media and has an extensive exhibition record. Sickler has shown his work nationally in galleries and museums, as well as abroad. His work is in over 100 private, public and institutional collections. He has experience in television, theater and is a nationally published poet. Sickler is an Associate Editor of the Comstock Review, has had two Chapbooks published. He is in Who's Who in Education, Who's Who in the Arts, Who's Who in the East and is a member of the National Academy of Poets. Michael Sickler is a Professor of Art and Art History in the School of Art, Syracuse University, with over 35 years of teaching experience. He has also lectured internationally, in England, Italy and Poland. Recent exhibitions include: the Edgewood Gallery, Syracuse,NY; the Joseph Scala Gallery, New Woodstock,NY. and the Schweinfurth Museum, Auburn, NY.
